cocktail blazer

(Zara blazer, Stradivarius top, Zara jean, Il laccio shoes, vintage bag CustomizeIY)

Here is what I wore for a cocktail with my friends some days ago. I am so upset I cannot blog as much as I want but school is really keeping me busy and crazy! I have got so much to do that I do not even know from where to begin. Fortunately, it will be over soon.
I love the classy-preppy attitude of the blazer with the grunge shade of gray of the jean. The clutch was my granny's property, and when she gave it to me it had a beautiful gold catch that broke some days after. I added a rock'n'roll edge with the studs. I also added an interlaced Chanel look-alike chain, useful when I use it as a shoulder bag.

black & flower

(Anne Hathaway in London)

Although she is one of the most talented actresses of our time, I am not a huge fan of her personal style. But this time, I am pleasantly surprised! I love the classy, refined jacket+shirt paired with more rock-chic black pants, but what makes the whole outfit unexpectedly great are the Isabel Marant Perkins sneakers. With inner wedge, smart!

take ivy

A post that is a little bit different. In 1965 Hayashida, a japanese photographer, know for being highly sofisticated, traveled throughout the northeastern United States, taking pictures of each of the Ivy League schools. The outcome is the book Take Ivy, a  "treasure of fashion insiders" (The New York Times), capturing the unique fashion of the student population of that time, showing some of the finest American-made garments.
The title comes from combining "Take Five" with Ivy League- jazz being huge in Japan as well as Ivy Style. I am not a huge fun of the preppy/Ivy style, but the high society, refined attitude of those guys is definitely eye-catcher.

chanel cruise show

Ok this is not something I use to do, but this time I really felt I had to. Chanel cruise ladies: which is your favorite? Rachel or Blake? Although I love Blake's style, and I find her a truly inspiring person I have to say Rachel. And you? What do you think?

I am dying for this Alexander Wang clutch. And the Free People lace shorts too.

Yesterday night. Milan. People. Everywhere. Sittingchattingsippinglaughingeatingdancingliving.
How I love to stare at them. To capture their facial expressions. To look at their clothes. Saturday night. Everyone dressed up. Wondering what they were thinking while picking them. Their inner hopes and wishes.
